Character Code Value dialog box

The Character Code Value dialog box displays various information about the current character sequence at the cursor position. This dialog box can be accessed by selecting the Character Code Value command.

Character Code Value displays the following information in order.

1. The character

2. Unicode code point

3. Document encoding and encoded bytes

4. Unicode name for this character

5. Script name

6. General category

7. Byte position in file

The displayed information can be copied by pressing Copy and Close.
